Intro to Patchwork and Quilting 4 Week Course

Explore patchwork and create your own quilted piece at this sewing class in the Edinburgh city centre!

4 x 2 hours Class size 1 to 5 guests       £110 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join us for an intro to patchwork and quilting, where you'll learn the fundamentals of this wonderfully relaxing craft. Whether you're working with your favourite fabric offcuts or hand-picked pieces from our stash, you'll create something entirely your own – maybe a laptop case, placemat, wall hanging, or cushion cover.
Our friendly instructor will take you through each step, showing you how to patch and piece fabrics together, then move on to quilting to finish your work. You don't need any experience – just show up ready to stitch, learn and switch off from the everyday. All materials are provided, so there's nothing to worry about.
What makes this class special is the low-pressure, joyful atmosphere. Wonky seams? Absolutely fine. First-timers? You'll fit right in. By the end of a few hours, you'll walk away with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece you've created with your own two hands – a keepsake that's totally personal to you, and a new skill you can keep using long after the class.
What you'll get
  • Use of sewing tools and equipment to make your project.
  • A selection of fabrics to use in your project, but you are also welcome to bring your own.

  • Full guidance with plenty of 1:1 time as you make your patchwork project!
