Throughout the year, Hobbycraft host a variety of workshops in stores and online, designed to give everyone the opportunity to master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite. Whether you want to enjoy crafting from the comfort of your own home or you’re looking to meet new people as you get making, these craft workshops offer something for everyone.
Most of our workshops are led by colleagues from Hobbycraft stores across the UK, including craft experts from our Hobbycraft Artisan programme. They use their expertise in specific areas of craft to create workshops that show participants new skills and inspire future projects.

Easy to follow along with each step explained. Memeber of staff was very friendly and had a great time. My daughter was very happy with her bunny and is looking forward to the monster session next week.

Good value for money and really lovely teacher. My daughter loved making her Easter bonnet today and there were plenty of materials provided.
My daughter left the session proudly wearing her bonnet and we will be looking to book another craft session soon.

I absolutely loved the spring wreath making class. The kit that was provided was lovely and the teacher Perrine was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back for another session later in the year.

Perrine was a great tutor, it was lovely being able to choose our own wool colours. We learned how to chain, turn, double crochet and treble crochet. After 90 minutes I feel confident to make a cover for my kindle.

I had a lovely session being taught by Perrine. She was very calm and helpful going over anything we needed as much as we needed. I learnt to do a slip knot, to do a chain, to double crochet and triple crochet. Perrine really helped with my confidence! Would definitely recommend

Had an enjoyable hour making a xmas wreath. Teacher was smiley and helpful. All things to make your wreath were provided. Small class of 4. Recommended for beginners and for a bit of festive fun

My Daughter absolutely loved this class, she was a little tired towards the end from a late night the night before (the joy of Summer Holidays) but Sophie did a fantastic job engaging with her to help her complete the project and finding the beads she wanted to spell her name. I would recommend this class for anyone with children aged 4+, my daughter's rainbow is proudly displayed in our living room window at I type!

It was a lovely class, our tutor Perinne was very patient and explained everything beautifully.
The kit that we were provided with was lovely and I really liked the colours
The table where we worked was put a little too close to a pile of boxes so our tutor was unable to get near everyone to show them what to do sadly.
Overall great value for money and another new skill to develop.

Fabulous . Carmen was so keen , helpful , knowledgeable ,bubbly , motivational…… a really brilliant teacher . She checked all along the way that we were progressing and if not she was there . The venue was a bit difficult being in the centre of the store … we got a cold draft every time someone came into the shop. We were given a kit each which contained 2 balls of quality wool , instructions on sturdy card , clear and informative . I have learnt much that I never could have got from a book . Having Carmen as the teacher has inspired me to take my crochet further ………. Will keep eyes open for the next stage up course . Amigurumi honey bee here I come .

Brilliant! Our teacher was amazing at explaining and showing techniques whilst still allowing us to put our own flare on our wreaths. She was also very attentive to us and was incredibly friendly. We experienced some issues with the fact our class kits weren’t delivered but the team were lovely, and swiftly created us our own kit from the shop floor. They were apologetic and even though we didn’t mind at all gave us discounts, which was very kind. The workshop was the very first I’ve been to at hobby craft and I’ll certainly be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. The teacher was excellent: knowledgeable and friendly and, not only demonstrated the techniques, but also gave me lots of ideas to try out myself.
The workshop is really good value for money & I’ll be able to make lots of items with the materials provided.
I will definitely look at other Hobbycraft workshops to try.

This was my Grandson’s first craft course and he loved it. As a 4 year old he’s quite shy but was chatty asked questions and loved making the spiders. Perrine is a fabulous tutor and was very patient with the children. They all enjoyed the course, my grandson has asked to do more.

This course was great fun. The teacher gave us a brilliant run down of everything we had in our kits, how to use it all and ideas on how to do the pouring. It was great fun and we've come away with some amazing pieces (or at least we will once they're dry and we collect them). Highly recommend and well worth the money!

Lovely class, teacher was very friendly and helped show the children what to do. It was a nice introduction to a new craft material we hadn't used before, we then left the shop having purchased a bag full of the clay it was so good!

I thoroughly enjoyed the spring wreath making workshop. The materials were great and i now have my own glue gun, no stopping me!
The end result looked really professional couldn’t believe i had made it!
Will definitely look at other courses and try some other things out!

I took my 8yo to a sewing class at the Ipswich store. Shirley held the class and she was amazing. She was explaining everything in great detail and my daughter with the help of Shirley made a big cube cushion. All the staff were really friendly and kind and the store was very clean and all measures were in place for a covid safe working. Brilliant keep up the good work and thanks.

This Christmas workshop was brilliant, we all had such a good time and learnt so much about how to display your resin figures into the glass baubles.
The venue was good and the value for money was also good you got lots of bits in your box every thing you needed to create.
We had a lovely lady called Carmen she was amazing so helpful friendly bubbly and well she just made the experience.
Loved it so much we will booking another one.

This was a lovely craft to learn and very relaxing to do. The teacher was friendly, with great enthusiasm and was very helpful to everyone taking the workshop. I felt the workshop was good value for the amount of material given and knowledge provided. I look forward to doing more workshops in the future.
