Throughout the year, Hobbycraft host a variety of workshops in stores and online, designed to give everyone the opportunity to master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite. Whether you want to enjoy crafting from the comfort of your own home or you’re looking to meet new people as you get making, these craft workshops offer something for everyone.
Most of our workshops are led by colleagues from Hobbycraft stores across the UK, including craft experts from our Hobbycraft Artisan programme. They use their expertise in specific areas of craft to create workshops that show participants new skills and inspire future projects.

I booked this for my 4yo granddaughter. I was so impressed. Sylvia was great. The “clay” was lovely, so easy to work with and not sticky, so no mess.
Excellent value for money. I’ll certainly be booking another workshop.

It wasn't quite what we were expecting but the lady who did the class (we can't remember her name) was so lovely, gave good advice and gave us extra bits for the wreaths as the proper kits hadn't turned up which definitely made up for it. The wreaths look great on our doors.

The clay creatures workshop was fabulous! The teacher was really helpful, supportive and encouraging! There were more than enough resources for everyone and wide range of colours and instructions! We will definitely come again!

Fabulous workshop, it gave me the chance to see infusible ink in action, and ask questions as we went along. A great opportunity to "try before you buy" with Janine who is a fantastic teacher, full of knowledge and a lovely person too :) Banbury is lucky to have her on their team #expert

The teacher was very friendly and helpful getting very sticky helping the kids great value for money really enjoyed the pumpkin decorating encouraging kids to do their own thing, a little short on space but still excellent

The teacher was very friendly and showed the kids step by step what to do , but also encouraged them to express themselves and do their own thing. The workshop was great value for money and really enjoyable

Did my first ever acrylic pour under the guidance of our fun tutor Alex. The class is in the centre of the shop with 4 chairs and a table. Aprons donned. I opened the beautifully wrapped box contains the 47 piece art set, which included 10 paints, spatulas, pouring cups, 4 small canvasses, pipettes and wooden box canvass. Alex showed us how to do a straight pour and how to move the canvass around to make beautiful paintings but also encouraged us to be adventurous and not worry about the mess (there was a fair bit of mess created but so much fun). He then showed how to do a ripple pour and blowouts. My only negative would be to have more time and perhaps brung your own small protective gloves as the plastic ones are huge. Excellent value for money as you get to take the gift box home and also collect your creations 2 days later. Thank you also the friendly staff at Hobbycraft.

My two daughters loved this Christmas Stars workshop. Paula was brilliant, encouraging, gave them loads of ideas and showed them lots of new techniques. She was very patient with my slightly over-excited 7 year old, and made my 13 year old feel totally at ease (not always easy with teens!).
Excellent value for money; each took home a big box full of equipment, clay and their creations to dry and decorate at home, and more importantly lots of inspiration for further craft sessions at home. A lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
We have done several Hobbycraft workshops; every one has been enjoyable, and we keep coming back for more! Thankyou very much.

Great class, got some good tips which were discussed abs demonstrated. Lots of materials were in included. Please make it clear that under 16s have to be accompanied and a adult has to attend throughout the class.

My son thoroughly enjoyed the ceramic painting workshop. The instructors were great, friendly and very knowledgeable.
