One-to-one Cricut Workshop

Join us in store and talk to a craft expert for tips and advice on your Cricut machine or project!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Nadia Duffy, attended Apr 2022: The workshop was brilliant. Very informative and helpful. Janine was great and really explained everything which lead to me purchasing my machine.
  • 5/5 from Heather Gledhill, attended Oct 2021: Janine was fab, very patient with my endless questions, and very knowledgeable and informative. Her passion for her subject shows and I found it very easy to understand what she was showing me. This is the best way for me to learn, and it was perfect. Standing for an hour was hard though as I have a back problem, so perhaps carried out at a table with chairs might be good but this might also be a logistical nightmare which I appreciate. (That said, I never actually asked for a chair, so that's my own fault!)
  • 1/5 from Alison Barnett, attended Sep 2021: Firstly he couldn't get onto the system, then he had to ask his manager if he could take a matt from the store, this all took up time. The session was not readily set up, After 30 minutes I said to finish as I had learnt nothing and he was struggling to show me how to do anything. Maybe a bad experience but I would not recommend
  • 5/5 from Megan Bond, attended Aug 2021: I had a Cricut workshop in Banbury this morning. I've never tried this technique before so was excited to learn. I was greeted by friendly staff, in particularly Janine who led the workshop. I learnt about the different types of cricut machines and how to use them. Janine showed me some of her cricut creations and then we had a go at creating one on vinyl. I really enjoyed the experience and would love Hobbycraft to offer more workshops for adults.
  • 5/5 from Sonia Bowmar-Scothern, attended Aug 2021: The teacher was very good. She demonstrated based on what I’d told her I wanted to use the machine for and was more than happy to answer any questions I had and go over anything again if I was unsure
