In a relaxed, supportive environment that's perfect for beginners and experienced jewellers, you’ll learn to roll, shape, and pattern your clay, turning your creative ideas into beautiful forms with gentle, step-by-step guidance, which includes sanding and drilling your pieces in readiness for firing. None - Louise will help you make your pieces, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced jeweller. The class size is a maximum of 6, to ensure personal attention can be given to each student.
What to bring
Please do not wear open-toed shoes.All tools and materials are supplied.Lunch, or there is a good selection of local eateries within a five-minute walk.Glasses/spectacles if you need them for close-up work.

I design, make and sell my own unique handmade silver jewellery and also teach how to make silver jewellery.I began my journey into silver metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Standard Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I have worked hard to develop my skills and I strive to work to the highest standard.I have over twelve years experience and I:
- am a senior metal clay instructor
- came third in an international competition held in Tokyo in 2024
- had one of my jewellery pieces displayed in an exhibition in Tokyo in 2023
- hold a higher diploma in silver clay
