What you'll do
FREE, DROP IN - Bring crafts - knitting, crochet, sewing, tapestry, cross stitch etc. & hang out with us in the lovely, relaxing atmosphere at Three Crowns pub, Stoke Newington. Most crafts acceptable. Someone even brought their child's homework to finish!It's a nice, cosy group where we just hang out, swap talents, learn stuff & occasionally get stuff off our chests.Can we teach you a craft from scratch? If someone in the group is up for it, yes. And we will certainly encourage you if you have a go. But generally, this is not a class or lesson.The pub has gorgeous food & of course, a wide variety of tasty organic drinks.Starts around 5:30pm but just turn up when you can, we tend to finish 8/8:30pm.See you there!

I love bringing vintage fabrics back to life with embroidery and upcycling. Initially introduced to sewing and crochet by my mum and gran, I drifted away from the craft in my teens. However, later rediscovered my passion for needlework and fully embraced it.I enjoy the playful aspects of embroidery, preferring a style that's whimsical and not overly precise. I hugely value sustainability and support local initiatives. I take discarded fabrics and transform them into something beautiful, giving them a new purpose.I've been called eccentric, creative and fun-loving which I am all over! I love learning and teaching and feel that nothing is too weird. My workshops are not only about learning a skill, but also about connecting with others and promoting sustainability through mending.
