My name is Heidi, of Chickiebid crafts. I am based in Tamworth, Staffs. I have been involved with crafting for many years, papercraft, tole painting, scrapbooking. 18 months ago I found Powertex and it unleashed a whole new world of crafting. Although the basics are fabric sculpting it has so much more potential to do so many things! I was addicted.I am now a fully trained tutor and am running workshops in my own studio in my garden. I still work at the main job of nursing so at the moment I offer Sunday workshops. Retirement is on the horizon and plans to expand are brewing. Much of this has been enabled by my dear father who I lost 18 months ago. Chickiebid was his nickname for me when I was small, hence the name. I love sharing my passion with other people and would love to welcome anyone interested into my crafting world.
