Join me and a friendly group of others for a relaxed, creative adult collage workshop in South East London, and rediscover the simple joy of making something by hand.
You'll be working with beautiful papers I've collected over time, including some I've marbled and printed myself, each bringing its own unique patterns and textures to your piece.
Over an hour and a half, you'll explore this collection of saved and handprinted papers and pick up simple collage techniques – cutting, layering and arranging – before spending time exploring and putting together your own collage. No previous experience is needed; just come as you are and see what shapes, colours and textures you're drawn to. I'll bring along cards, frames and card stock for you to collage onto, so there's plenty to choose from.
Whether you come along with a friend or on your own, you'll find a friendly, informal setting where everyone's encouraged to create in their own way.
Held at The Crown Tavern in Lee, this is more than just a craft workshop – it's a chance to slow down, meet people from the local community, and enjoy a drink while making something beautiful.
What you'll get

Knowledge required
No knowledge or skills required - as I say practice makes progress what ever stage you feel you're at.
What to bring
You don't need to bring anything, but if you would like to bring any paper you've saved and wish to use, please do. I'd love to see it and hear why you've saved it!

An 8 minute walk from Lee Station. There is a car park and free parking on the roads outside. *Please note this space is only accessible via stairs.*
