Q: Is the eco-stone safe to handle, and will it stain my clothes?
We use non-toxic, water-based mineral stone (like Jesmonite) which is safe to handle. While we provide aprons, the pigments can sometimes be stubborn, so we recommend wearing something you don't mind getting a little dusty.
Q: Are the trays I make waterproof or food-safe?
Your creations are splash-resistant once sealed, making them perfect for jewellery or keys. However, they are not intended for direct contact with food or use in the dishwasher.
Q: I’m a total beginner, is this class right for me?
Absolutely! This experience is designed for complete beginners. We will guide you through every step, from measuring and mixing to the final polish.
Q: Can I take my creations home on the same day?
Yes! One of the best things about eco-stone is its quick setting time. You will be able to unmould, sand and capture professional photos of your pieces all within the workshop session.
Q: What if I’m sensitive to scents?
While we use high-quality therapeutic essential oils, the aromatherapy element is customisable. If you prefer a scent-free experience, you can simply enjoy the tactile process of the stone casting without the oils. Just let us know at the beginning of the class.

Hi, I’m Corina! My journey into the world of artistic creation officially began in July 2024, following a redundancy from a life-long career in corporate banking. But that moment was my wake-up call and I soon realised I had been running on empty for far too long. I founded The Scent of Burnout as a way to heal myself and, ultimately, to help others find their own creative reset.I started with the simple, soothing ritual of pouring soy wax candles, but soon discovered the incredible versatility of eco-stones like Jesmonite and mineral-based plasters. I became passionate about these materials because they are sustainable, durable and offer a grounding, tactile experience that is the perfect solution to digital fatigue.I love teaching because I get to witness the "magic moment" when a guest moves from the stress of their day into a state of flow. There is something incredibly rewarding about working with your hands and seeing someone’s face light up as they unmould their first creation. I have designed my workshops to be a safe, supportive space for decompression and fun.Most people don’t realise that "stone" can be so sensory! My workshops are unique because I integrate my expertise as a doTERRA Wellness Advocate. We start and end with "aromatic moments" to ground the senses. I also use a specialised revolving stage and photo light box for the finale, ensuring every guest leaves with a professional-quality memory of their achievement.While my business is a new chapter, I bring a high level of professional excellence to everything I do:
