Hi, I’m Eva Merendes, a contemporary visual artist and art tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience. I hold an MA in Fine Art, and I specialise in watercolours, acrylics, mixed media, pastels, drawing, printing methods, and sculpting. With a strong background in art therapy and years of experience working as a psychotherapist, I bring empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of personal expression into my teaching.
I’m fluent in both English and Greek, and I love helping students of all ages unlock their creativity, whether they are just beginning their artistic journey or looking to refine their skills. My private classes provide a safe and supportive space for exploration, where students can experiment with new techniques and grow at their own pace. I work from my studio in Kingston, but I also offer the option to teach at your location for added convenience.
You will also catch me facilitating weekly art workshops for both adults and kids, as I collaborate with other studios in south London. If I am not teaching, I am usually doing art gallery rounds in central London or drawing in my sketchbook new ideas for my paintings.
