What you'll do
In this full-day workshop, you will learn all you need to know to create your own wedding floral designs from top trends for this year's brides-to-be to crafting corsages and how to package flowers so they last longer, there's so much to learn!
This workshop welcomes beginners and budding florists looking to chase their floral dreams. You'll be guided by a friendly, local teacher from Cherry Cabin Floristry in a warm and welcoming environment where you'll have all supplies provided (and some refreshments)!
During this wedding floristry class, you will:
- Learn bridal trends for 2023.
- Take a look at bridal embellishments and make a ribbon bow.
- Make a simple wrist corsage.
- Make a bridal hand-tied posy.
- Learn how to package wedding flowers.
Give wedding flowers a go and make your own gorgeous flower designs. You'll take home the arrangements you make plus lots of top techniques for working with beautiful blooms.

My flower journey began over 40 years ago when I worked as a Saturday girl in a local flower shop; I loved the fact that every day in a flower shop was different and the creative side of making a variety of flower designs for different occasions.
I completed a number of floristry qualifications and became a British Master Florist in 2008. Over the years, I have been lucky enough to have made numerous flower designs for special events including helping with the flowers for the eight world leaders at the G8 Summit in a Shropshire Stately home and decorating a Princes Yacht with flowers in Gibraltar.
I enjoy sharing flower skills and have been teaching floristry and flower arranging over twenty years now, sixteen of these at local further education colleges.
