Q: Are the biscuits gluten free?
Unfortunately not. We use plain (wheat) flour in our biscuits and since this is air born we can not guarantee that biscuits made with an alternative, gluten free flour would be free of cross contamination
Q: Is the space accessible?
Yes. It is on the first floor but there is a platform lift by the entrance as well as an accessible toilet.
Q: Will snacks and drinks be provided?
The venue has a stunning bar & restaurant, so we recommend arriving slightly earlier and grabbing yourself a drink. Drink orders will also be taken partway through the class should anyone like another. The venue is also right in the heart of Manchester's historic Gay Village, in the city centre, so you will have a plethora of choices for eating out and having a drink before or after the workshop.
Q: Where do I park?
There is a paid NCP parking facility on Chorlton Street, right by the venue.
Q: Is it dog friendly?
You can bring a small, well behaved dog.
Q: What's the cancellation policy?
A: Free to cancel or reschedule up until 3 days before the class

What you'll do
Introduction
You will learn about your tools and the 3 main stages of cookie decorating- outline, flood and detail. This workshop will be designed based on your choice of theme.
Practice
You will have a chance to test your icing skills on a practice sheet before moving on to icing the real thing.
Outline
The real fun starts! You finally get to outline the designs onto your actual cookies, guided by Esi.
Flood
This is where we colour inside the lines with a flood consistency royal icing.
Detail
Add final details to bring your designs to life, using outline consistency icing, sprinkles and edible pens.
Finishing Touches
Wrap up your designs and package your biscuits in their gift boxes. Or just eat them!

The class will take place in the meeting room on the 1st floor of Leven Hotel. Housed in a landmark red brick building on the corner of Chorlton and Canal Street. It is a 5 minute walk from Piccadilly Station.
