What you'll do
In this beginners workshop, we will go through how to stitch the mini flower hoop kit step by step. Then, if you have time, make a start on the 4" 'Be You' hoop to finish at home. Needle minder by Cotton and Clay UK included.
As a beginner, there's no need to worry, as the workshop is tailored to make you feel at ease and comfortable throughout the class. Working with these materials may seem intimidating at first, but the small group setting will provide a supportive environment for you to flourish in your newfound craft.
Immerse yourself in the process of stitching and embroidery, allowing the rhythmic motion of the needle and thread to relax your mind and uplift your spirits. The Joyful Crafting Company is a contemporary crafting business that focuses on needle minder banners, cross stitch kits and accessories.
All designs and products are made with the purpose of bringing joy and aim to be a reminder to ‘do something joyful each day’ for YOURSELF. Sewing has always been an escape for me. It has long been my dream to spread the joy that crafting can bring. Life can be hard at times and crafting can give the peace and joy we all need to help us through.
The time I have available to devote to my business is limited, as The Joyful Crafting Company runs alongside my corporate job. Fortunately, I am supported by my amazing family ️. Branding (and driving vans!) is in the capable hands of my husband, Mum is involved with design and photography and Dad provides moral support. You will probably see at least one, if not all, of them at the markets and festivals I attend.
