Crepe Paper Dahlia Workshop

Following the popularity of my summer crepe paper poppy workshops, I’m continuing the seasonal flower theme into September with a beautiful life-size Crepe Paper Dahlia Workshop.Dahlias are such a wonderful flower to recreate in crepe paper, with their layers upon layers of intricate petals creating a beautifully realistic, full-headed bloom. This is a detailed and hands-on workshop where we’ll explore the techniques needed to create your own stunning paper dahlia.To make the most of our creative time together, many of the petals and materials will be pre-cut and prepared for you. This means we can spend less time on the repetitive preparation and more time learning the techniques and enjoying the process of building your flower.I’ll guide you through the process step by step, including how to cut and shape the petals, create the individual components, and construct your dahlia to bring it to life.And the fun doesn’t have to stop when you leave!You’ll also receive a take-home kit containing templates and additional materials, allowing you to recreate your dahlia from scratch at home. Your kit will give you everything you need to revisit the techniques and make more flowers in the future.Following the workshop, you’ll also receive access to a recorded video demonstration, so you can refresh your memory and follow along again whenever you’re ready to make another dahlia.This is a lovely opportunity to spend a morning getting creative, learning a new skill, and creating a beautiful seasonal flower that you can enjoy long after the workshop has finished.No previous experience is necessary—just come along and enjoy getting creative with crepe paper!
