Join this lino printmaking workshop at Studio 7 Latimer in Notting Hill and spend a few hours discovering one of the most satisfying crafts around.
Working with a traditional printing press and water-based, quick-drying inks, you'll carve and print your own A4 lino cut from start to finish. A selection of beginner and intermediate designs means there's a starting point for everyone – whether this is your first time holding a lino tool or you've had a go before. The process is methodical and meditative in the best way: cutting your design, inking it up, and pulling a print to reveal what you've made is a genuinely joyful moment every time.
Studio 7 Latimer is a modern, well-equipped space tucked into a quiet corner of Notting Hill – calm enough to focus, with everything you need already laid out for you. All materials are included: paper, inks, tools, and a paper bag to carry your artwork home safely.
At the end of the class, you'll have two printed A4 artworks to take home, ready to frame and hang on your wall or give as handmade gifts!
Please note: if you have an apron, you're welcome to bring one, though it's not required.
