We did pressed flowers and had such a nice and relaxing time - the studio was very cool, ambiance music good and the treats and fresh mint got us through the heat! However, I thought it was a bit overpriced as what is included with the ticket is limited and if you want to up grade to other materials the added cost is a lot. I would go again if it was a special occasion but I am not sure if I would go on a more regular basis.

The space was set up beautifully to create a warm, inspiring, and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance alone made it easy to relax and get creative. The concept of the workshop was very nice — a blend of art and community that encouraged self-expression in a cozy, setting.

Linda was still really attentive and supportive despite the busyness, and tea, coffee and biscuits were at the ready and regularly topped up. I paid a bit extra to paint with acrylics (definitely the first time I've painted anything since Year 9) and was really pleased with the result. Linda's prompts were really helpful and I liked that she came to see how things were going and offer suggestions. I can see me going to the art cafe becoming a regular thing. I would definitely recommend.

Great place and exactly what I was looking for - an artistic & easygoing venue to craft & spend an afternoon with a great playlist, digestive biscuits & tea. All the arts materials I needed (I came for a vision board) - she also has pastels, charcoals, paints. I’d spoken to the owner beforehand and she was really helpful. And even nicer in person! Recommend almost as much as I don’t want to - because otherwise too many people will find out about this gem!

My only small suggestion would be to consider adding two fans facing each table, as they’re a worthwhile long-term investment and would really help with air circulation especially on hotter days like today, when it felt quite warm inside. It would also be great to offer a cold beverage option during hot weather something simple like lemonade, soft drinks or chilled still water with ice would make a big difference without adding much cost. That said, the experience overall was amazing and I would absolutely return!

It was a calm, healing and hopeful one. A break from our typically stressful and chaotic lives. We bought the £20 package and Salinda provided us with the option of choosing charcoal, Pastel or watercolour to work with and was available throughout to give advice or tips if we asked. There was also an assistant there who was super sweet! The whole atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. (Also If we wanted to upgrade to acrylic work it was an extra £10, or for mood board collage work it was an extra £5.) We had a pot of coffee and tea and a plate of biscuits that would refill when run out. It was a really nice and wholesome experience and fairly priced at that! I can’t even find the right words to express how much I enjoyed it!! My inner child was soooo happpy! Salinda also mentioned they would potentially be starting up a few workshops for other styles of art So glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem and I will definitely be coming back!!! Thank you so muchhhhh

She had a pot of tea and biscuits at the ready and was really helpful with the tips and guidance she gave with the medium we were using: charcoal for me and watercolour for my friend, especially since neither of us have done anything arty since school. We had such a good time and we'll be back very soon!

Linda was super friendly, the space was really cool, relaxed and quiet, and the arty options available all looked like great run. I paid extra for the acrylic paints, and really enjoyed painting a mini canvas with a house I’d taken a shine to (and a photo of) on a recent holiday to France. Linda was really good at being helpful and providing inspiration and tips, without the pressure of it being ‘a class’ where you have to follow along. I came away absolutely loving the art cafe concept - and really want to come back soon!

The environment is cozy and the “menu” for different art activities was so fun to choose from. The free-flow experience gave us all an opportunity to tap in to our creative sides in any way we wanted. I highly recommend!!

I went with my friend as a fun way to have a catch up and do something new, and it didn’t matter that neither of us know nothing about art! I’d recommend it as something fun to do with friends and also alone (as everyone chats!)! Great snacks too.

The light really brings space to life, making it feel open and inspiring throughout the day. For anyone in London looking for a creative space to explore their artistic side or meet like-minded individuals, I highly recommend this studio & the experience Linda provides. The host was so lovely and caring, as she treated us with delicious pastries and hot drinks and answered all the questions. I even had a chance to draw on the wall (and I’m not particularly talented) and share some thoughts on the community wall.

Hi, I’m Linda, the creator of Imperfect Art! My journey into the world of creative workshops started as a personal pursuit of joy. Growing up in an environment that valued perfection in everything, I felt stifled in my creativity. Years later, I rediscovered the happiness that comes from creating art freely and sharing that experience with others.

Imperfect Art was born out of my desire to help others embrace their creative side, no matter their skill level. My workshops are designed to be fun, engaging, and inclusive - perfect for anyone looking to explore their creativity, connect with others, or just enjoy a relaxing, hands-on activity.

I love teaching because it’s incredibly rewarding to see people surprise themselves with what they can create. Whether it’s bending candles into playful shapes, painting tote bags, or crafting seasonal wreaths, I aim to make every workshop a memorable experience.

Here’s something you might not know about me: I used to play the violin and was in a band! Music and art have always been part of my life, and now I channel that creativity into my workshops.

Since launching Imperfect Art, I’ve hosted workshops for groups of friends, London folk looking to connect, and even corporate teams. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcome, inspired, and empowered to make something uniquely theirs.
