Hi, we’re Jade and Shanieka, the founders of Crafty Tufts Studios!

Our journey began with a shared passion for creativity and a desire to find a hands-on, mindful escape from our increasingly digital world. As we explored different craft forms, tufting captured our hearts — it’s vibrant, tactile, and full of possibilities. We quickly realised how powerful it felt to create something tangible with our hands, away from screens, and we knew we wanted to share that feeling with others.

At Crafty Tufts Studios, our workshops are designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and offer a joyful break from the everyday hustle. Whether you’re making a bold rug, a cosy wall hanging, or experimenting with new textile art, we create a relaxed and inspiring environment where everyone — no matter their skill level — can unleash their inner artist.

We love teaching because it’s not just about making art; it’s about connection, expression, and watching people surprise themselves with what they can create. Our aim is for everyone who joins us to leave with a beautiful piece of art and a renewed sense of creativity.
