Corked Jar Terrarium Workshop - Battersea

Make your own large terrarium, in Battersea Park

75 mins Class size 10 to 400 guests       £60 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Learn the history of terrariums, how to care for them and the ideal plants to fill them with. You will be provided with everything you need to create your own little ecosystem. We will have a range of plants for you to choose from including Fittonia and Moss, as well as a large sealable glass jar. We will guide you through creating your own terrarium, which will be all yours to take home at the end of the session. This is a great individual or group experience for anyone who wants to learn some new indoor gardening skills.
You will leave with a care guide for your terrarium and a Jar and Fern tote bag to carry it home in, as well as all you need to know about how to make more terrariums as we know they can be quite addictive!
We will be hosting this event indoors in the beautiful Battersea Park at Thrive Battersea. Thrive offers gardening programmes to more than 200 Londoners in four fantastic gardens in Battersea Park, as well as various outreach projects in the wider community.
Thrive is located in the Main Garden on East Carriage Drive. Thrive also sells an amazing range of very reasonably priced houseplants, so it's worth coming along a bit earlier and checking out the gardens as well as perusing the plants (you'll probably want to bring an extra bag!).
