Get in the festive spirit by joining our fun and informative fresh festive wreath-making workshop. We will introduce you to a gorgeous selection of seasonal foliage and natural, sprayed, and preserved decorations such as sprayed birch twigs, flax seeds, and orange slices. You will have a variety of traditional foliage to choose from, as well as fresh moss to create a base for your wreath. The unfinished wreath base is 30cm, with the finished wreath being roughly 40cm. We will be using large, high-quality metal wreaths that you can tailor to make your own unique festive decoration. Finished with a velvet ribbon, our wreaths are perfect to hang on your door for the whole festive season or use indoors as a centrepiece.
You will be provided with all the instructions needed, as well as aftercare advice to keep your fresh wreath looking as beautiful as possible. You will also be shown how to save your fresh moss wreath base for the following year along with the pinecone and ribbons!
We will be hosting this event indoors in the beautiful Battersea Park at Thrive Battersea. Thrive offers gardening programmes to more than 200 Londoners in four fantastic gardens in Battersea Park, as well as various outreach projects in the wider community.
Thrive is located in the Main Garden on East Carriage Drive. Thrive also sells an amazing range of very reasonably priced houseplants, so it's worth coming along a bit earlier and checking out the gardens as well as perusing the plants (you'll probably want to bring an extra bag!).
