It's the Christmas holidays! Now what are you going to do with your excitable children who can't wait for Santa's sleigh-bells?
Pop along to Make it Fab and make happy Christmas memories as you learn the basics of sewing. During this fun, family-friendly craft class, you'll learn how to sew your own DIY Christmas decorations to take home – it's sew much fun to start the holidays with!
Walk away having had experience using a sewing machine and hand sewing along with a dose of Christmas fun, a string of bunting and a snowman decoration!

Growing up I never considered myself as being creative. I hated handwriting so didn’t do well in creative writing. I wasn’t great at drawing (still not!) so didn’t do well in art classes. In Home Economics I made a sewn toy clown that to this day haunts me.
Skip to my early thirties and I had done some jewellery and card making classes with friends and all of a sudden realised I actually really enjoy making! I wasn’t great but I loved the process. So I took up sewing and loved it. I loved the process, the problem solving when something didn’t work out quite right and the satisfaction of making something someone will love.
I have come to realise how important being creative is to my mental health and how it shouldn’t just be for the naturally talented. Everyone should have a chance to build their creative muscles and feel the benefits. So I have set up Make it Fab – a creative studio for all abilities!
