What you'll do

In this 2.5-hour session, you’ll craft a unique Christmas decoration hoop with a Christmas tree design using recycled textiles, learning the 3D embroidery stitch ‘Couching’ and embellishment techniques to bring texture and depth to your festive design.With a variety of recycled yarns, beads, sequins, and other embellishments on hand, you’ll personalise your tree decoration to reflect your own style. Ashley will guide you in finishing your hoop with washi tape and adding a hanging loop, adding the final polish to your display-ready creation.Perfect for beginners, this workshop combines learning new upcycling techniques with a fun, relaxed atmosphere. You’ll leave with an original, eco-friendly holiday decoration in a 6-inch embroidery hoop, ready to hang and enjoy or gift.
