Hi! I'm Camilla and I will be teaching your classes. I have been teaching for many years now since I graduated from my ceramics degree in 2011. I teach all the basics of hand building ceramics in the classes. Many people like to come back to do the course over and over again once they have got the hang of things and can create whatever they like. The classes and courses are perfect for beginners to learn the methods and build confidence in making with clay. I have recently moved studios into my garden room and am hoping to build up my student base in my new home of Selhurst/ Croydon. ​There are two parts to my own work; wall installations and more functional vessels. The vessels are an extension of the wall sculptures that were developed over the years to create something more accessible than the large wall installations. The hexagon is a recurring shape in my work, I find it such a satisfying shape to work with and it provides many options for creating different compositions. My dream has always been to work in a garden studio, and that is now a reality.
