Hi, I’m Char, the maker behind Created By Char! I discovered punch needle art in 2022 and from the moment I tried it, I was hooked. There was something so therapeutic about pulling loops of yarn through fabric, watching colourful designs come to life. What started as a creative escape quickly turned into a full-blown passion and now a business where I get to share that joy with others!

I absolutely love teaching because I know first hand how rewarding it is to make something with your own hands. Whether you're a total beginner or already crafty, my workshops are all about having fun, getting creative, and leaving with something you're proud of (plus some new skills to keep exploring).

Something most people don’t realize about punch needle is how versatile it is, you can make wall art, coasters, cushions, and so much more. The possibilities are endless! When I’m not crafting, you’ll probably find me hunting for colourful home décor, sipping on an iced coffee, or planning my next market stall. I can’t wait to share my love of punch needle with you!
