Teacher was great, able to answer questions and knew correct terminology and helped when we got stuck or needed to move on quicker than others in the class. Have booked to try knitting next week and will def take her back for one to one when she gets a bit further on in her project and needs more direct input.

I enjoyed the class although the time goes by quickly. It would be great if longer workshops were available. It was also good to hear about the one to one sessions and help with projects. Thanks jack!

  • 5/5 from Joy, attended Aug 2024: The teacher Jack was very patient and dealt with the range of ages and skill knowledge extremely well. He is enthusiastic and this rubbed off on the group. I am seriously considering another course covering another skill. The store is undergoing improvement and I hope that a specific area on the ground floor be allocated to take on to account accessibility as the lift is very small for those of us who use mobility scooters.

  • 5/5 from Lesley Wall, attended Aug 2024: Jack was brilliant patient and very helpful. I learnt to do the basic stitches of crochet together with helpful hints on making things. The materials supplied were of good quality and will be handy in future projects. Yes the class is good value. I liked the relaxed way the instructions were given and help with my work when I needed it.
  • 4/5 from Sarah Boston, attended Aug 2024: It was a good class and the teacher was very knowledgeable. The only problem was the fact that everyone works at a different pace. So the teacher spent a lot of time helping the people who were struggling to get the list of just putting the yarn on the needle, which meant the rest of the class were waiting. I felt like I could have learnt a lot more if the time was used more effectively. I appreciate this is the way with group classes and the teacher handled it very well indeed so this isn't a negative review, I just think I'd think twice about such a short duration group class in future. But the teacher was great!
  • 3/5 from Alison Howell, attended Aug 2024: Hard for teacher to give enough attention to individuals as the class was diverse - a seven year old, two teenagers, a left handed lady and me
