Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a One-to-one and ask any questions you have about crochet. Stuck on a project? Need help with understanding a pattern? Trying to get to grips with a new stitch? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.
This is suitable for crocheters looking for that next step on from our Beginners' Workshops, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need. It’s a great way to gain confidence with your craft, troubleshoot any problems you’re having with your current project in an easy, direct way or learn about stitches you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Artisan know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a crochet pro, ready to take your designs to a new level!
Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

He didn't seem to have a good understanding of the techniques he was clearly adept at and how to properly pass them on to other. Frequently having to stop and see what he was doing and then not being very able to explain it or only explain it in vague terms. I did pick up some useful knowledge though and will continue to practice.

I wanted to have a go at the Hobbycraft crochet stocking advent calendar but thought the pattern was a bit too advanced for me so I wanted some help to get started. Dan had obviously done his research prior to our meeting and had the pattern printed off and was ready to walk me through the aspects of the pattern I was struggling to follow. I left the one-to-one confident to give it a go. So yes the session was definitely worth the money as I got exactly what I needed/wanted within the hour allocated. A beginners kit was provided, but this was an unnecessary addition as I was bringing the yarn and hook for the particular pattern with me. The venue is a little on the cold side. There was no way I was taking my coat off! Brilliant session though and well worth it. Thank you.
