Recent reviews of Handmade Clamshell Box Making Workshop
- 5/5 from Chun-Mei Wang, attended Apr 2026: A very detail-oriented and thoroughly well-structured workshop.
- 5/5 from Chris, attended Sep 2024: This was a really good class, taking most of the day, making this clamshell box from scratch. It is a very satisfying project - especially when it all comes together and fits! I think that a complete craft beginner could do it, but if you can use a ruler and a scalpel, and can keep your fingers out of the glue pot, then you should be OK. If you make mistakes along the way (I did) Andrea is good at helping you find a way to fix them. Having made one of these, I had sufficient confidence to go home and make a slipcase - which uses many of the same techniques - on my own.
