The venue wasn’t ideal and we had to squeeze in a bit. The name of the event implies that a drink might be included but it wasn’t and the choice at the bar was pretty rubbish. When we arrived, we were told that we had chosen which Frida we wanted to paint but, having booked through ClassBento, this hadn’t been an option so caused some confusion and frustration that not everyone could paint the one they wanted. This needs to be factored in to the booking process on any site where you can book. One of our party was very late (due to trains) but the ladies really helped her to catch up and get something she was happy with, which was lovely. We’d definitely do something like this again but maybe at a different venue.

• 4/5 from Christopher Bigland, attended Jan 2025: Teacher was fantastic and we really enjoyed the experience. Was a lot of fun. She was really friendly, clear and obviously very talented. The venue was great and we had plenty of room to paint with all the resources required provided. Only criticism was that the teaching assistant spent a large amount of time with one particular group as they had late arrivals and she spent her time 'catching them up'. This meant she didn't circulate much and it increased the pressure on the teacher to top up paints and water rather than focussing on helping people with technique and explanation. Lovely atmosphere overall, would recommend to anyone who fancies trying something new or just likes being creative.

Not one person answered the phone to assist us. The teacher is a lovely and knowledgeable person, but the workshop itself lacked organisation and supplies. The class is called sip and pain, but not even one drink is included in the ticket. We expected a bottle of wine for a table or something comparable; we have been to many events like this and have always enjoyed our time, but this time, we did not. For the price tag it deserves the rating we gave it at this point in time. A lot needs to be improved.
