Learn to draw the human figure from a live model in this life drawing class in Manchester led by professional artist and teacher Susannah Pal from Now, Draw! Life drawing is a skill artists have practised for thousands of years – and you can start learning it too, whether you're a complete beginner, a little rusty, or already experienced. You'll spend two calm, focused hours drawing, supported by Susannah's tips, encouragement, and 1:1 feedback throughout.This is a welcoming atmosphere designed for you to settle in, focus, and create. There's something special about drawing from a live model – it connects you to the figure in a way that other drawing practice can't. Susannah will guide you to start exactly where you are, building your confidence and skill as you go. You'll leave with your own drawings to keep and the satisfaction of having tried something new (or deepened your practice if you're already drawing).All the materials you need are provided – a drawing board, paper, and a range of pencils, charcoal, and felt tips – so you just need to bring yourself. If you'd like to bring your own materials, you're welcome to do so (as long as they're easy to clear up).
