What you'll do

Aperitivo is a core part of Italian bar culture – a ritual pre-meal drink designed to “open” the appetite before dining. For generations, Italians have gathered in the early evening to enjoy drinks, appetisers, and great company.

During this interactive experience, our skilled bartenders will introduce you to the world of Italian aperitivo through a combination of live demonstrations, tastings, and hands-on cocktail making.

The class includes:

A welcome aperitivo cocktail demonstration with tasting
An additional cocktail demonstration led by our mixologist (tasting included, shared depending on group size)
One cocktail personally crafted by each participant
A shot of limoncello to finish

You’ll also learn about iconic cocktails such as the Negroni, Limoncello Bramble, and Espresso Martini, gaining insight into their history, ingredients, and preparation techniques.

Throughout the class, you’ll develop essential mixology skills in a relaxed and social environment, experiencing the true spirit of Italian aperitivo culture.

Please note: demonstration cocktails may be shared between participants depending on group size.

However you get one spritz, the bartender makes you one cocktail, you make one of your own and then you get a shot. It could be good value for money if you're going to purely drink.

When we arrived we were sat on stools at the bar, the restaurant was full and very busy. our ' teacher' was a member of staff who was also working the bar for the full restaurant too. We had three cocktails each made for us that we could choose, it wasnt so much of a class experience rather we were sat at the bar watching. The description reads like its more interactive which it was not. The food was a starter of bruschetta and then a sharing board which included some cheesy chips, arancini and canneloni. I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience as felt it wasnt what was advertised really. The bartender was very nice but did not have the time to do the 'experience' the way it was sold. I wouldnt go back.

Cocktails were repeatedly made incorrectly (IE an April spritz made of 75% soda water, substitutions that meant the cocktail was something else entirely, forgetting to put spirits in them). Food was hot and cold at the same time (as if frozen and microwaved). The olives were nice....

She was chatty and helpful, and really keen to talk us through the cocktails to help us find drinks we loved. The snacks were extensive, and we left feeling fully stuffed. They were very flexible about accomodating our date/time. I would fully recommend this experience

The sharing board is quite a lot more than we expected so don't eat before you arrive! 2. The description says that you get to make your own cocktails and at no time was this suggested. See quotes from website... 'With the guidance of our experts, you'll have the opportunity to craft your own concoction' 'But the fun doesn't stop there! Get ready for the grand finale as we let you loose behind the bar to show off your skills' However, that said, we had a lovely time and our mixologist was charming!

Then the Italian teacher guided us according to our taste and she explained well how each cocktail was made. The sharing board was very authentic Italian and tasty with a generous amount of food. The best part was the amazing cocktails, again with generous quantities of ingredients.
