Knowledge required
This workshop suits beginners as well as those of you who have some experience working with silver clay and would like to further develop your skills.
What to bring
All tools and equipment are provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm. It would be a good idea to bring a packed lunch. Please also bring reading glasses if you need them.
Your teacher
Pepper Tree Studio is the perfect place to discover the magical world of jewellery made with silver clay. The studio was set up by award winning metal clay artist, Richard Allen and Lesley Willard and their silver clay taster and themed workshops cater for all skill levels, from the absolute beginner to the more advanced. From a personalised one to one session or time with some friends up to a team building corporate experience.Although our studio is based in the Victoria Dock area of Hull in East Yorkshire, we hold workshops all over the North of England (and sometimes further afield!) Come and join us on one of our workshops, we know you'll have a lot of fun.Both Richard and Lesley regularly showcase their designs in London and have had work displayed in Poland and Japan. The couple were awarded The People's Choice Award for Collection of the Year at The Professional Jeweller Awards 2025 and have now been made finalists for the UK Jewellery Awards 2026.
