Settle in & Get Creative
Our workshop takes place in a spacious, relaxed setting, with a maximum of just 12 guests. You’ll be seated across two large tables, with no more than six people per table, giving everyone plenty of room to paint, decorate and enjoy the experience comfortably.
Everything You'll Need to Create
You’ll receive three ceramic baubles to decorate, with a selection of acrylic paints and acrylic paint pens. Choose your colours, mix and match, and make each bauble completely your own.
Paint Your Base Colour
You will choose your base colour and paint your baubles with 1–2 coats of acrylic paint. While they dry, if you wish, you can purchase a drink of your choice from the café, then start planning your designs and practise your ideas on paper before decorating your baubles.
Now It's Time to Add Your Design
With your base colour dry, it’s time to get creative and bring your baubles to life. Using the acrylic paints and paint pens provided, add the designs of your choice — follow one of the examples for inspiration or create something completely your own.
Take your time, have fun and make each of your three baubles uniquely yours.
Finishing Touches & Gift Wrapping
Once your designs are complete and your baubles are dry, it’s time for the finishing touches. Choose a coordinating ribbon for each bauble, then carefully package them in their individual festive gift boxes.
You’ll leave with three beautiful, hand-painted ceramic baubles, created entirely by you and ready to hang on your tree, give as thoughtful handmade gifts, or treasure for years to come.
- Select your colour palette.
- Paint your baubles with acrylic paint.
- Apply a second coat where needed for a lovely, even finish.
- Take a short refreshment break (available to purchase from the cafe) while the paint dries.
- Plan and practise your designs using the inspiration sheets provided.
- Decorate your baubles with acrylic paint pens and acrylic paint.
- Add personalised details, patterns or festive wording.
- Choose coordinating ribbons.
- Package your finished baubles in presentation boxes, ready to take home.

Whether you're trying something new or already love getting creative, come along, relax and enjoy making something uniquely yours!
What to bring
What to bring?You don’t need to bring anything — all materials and an apron will be provided.Acrylic paint can stain clothing, so please wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint on. Aprons are provided, but as they don’t cover your arms, long or loose sleeves should be avoided.

What started as a childhood passion has stayed with me throughout my life and eventually grew into Peppermint Creations.After a period of serious illness, I decided it was time for a change of direction in my career and to spend more time doing something I genuinely loved. In 2020, I became a Cricut Ambassador, and since then I've had the pleasure of sharing my love of crafting with people across the Greater Manchester area.Over the years, I've run a wide variety of creative workshops, including Christmas bauble painting, reusable Christmas cracker making, candle decorating, Christmas wreath making, and many more.My experience ranges from hosting large event days for organisations, with creative drop-in sessions for employees throughout the day, to hosting smaller, more personal workshops held at large stores like John Lewis and lovely local venues and independent spaces. I really enjoy the different atmosphere each type of event brings and can adapt my workshops to suit the setting and the people taking part.One of the things I love most is watching what happens once a workshop gets underway. Some people arrive full of confidence and can't wait to get started, while others are a little nervous or tell me they're "not creative".It rarely takes long for everyone to begin to relax, chat and enjoy themselves. There's something very special about switching off from everyday life for a couple of hours, trying something new and discovering a creative side you might not even have realised you had.My workshops are relaxed, friendly and suitable for beginners. You don't need any previous experience and there's no pressure to make something perfect. I'll be there to provide inspiration, demonstrate techniques and offer as much or as little help as you need.Most importantly, I want everyone to enjoy the experience and leave feeling proud of what they've created — taking home something lovely that they've made themselves and can enjoy and treasure for many years to come.I look forward to welcoming you to a Peppermint Creations workshop and seeing what you create!
