From Crockery to Jewellery: Silversmithing Experience

unique eco-crafting experience: take an old piece of china or crockery and transform it into jewellery.

5 hours Class size 1 to 2 guests

  £100 - £130 (£130 per guest when you book for 1 guest, £100/guest for 2 guests)

A fun and unique jewellery-making experience.
We will take an old and broken piece of crockery (bring your own if you have something you love that is no longer functional) and break it up to turn it into a beautiful, unique piece of jewellery.
This will include:
  • Marking and cutting your pottery
  • Shaping your pottery shard using a pottery grinding machine
  • Using silversmithing techniques to make a sterling silver setting for your shard
  • Setting the pottery shard in your creation
The experience involves using manual tools and a bit of elbow grease. All activities will be fully explained and supported by your tutor; no prior knowledge needed.
