Welcome to Jenni Wren Designs. Jenni Wren is a childhood nickname, as a nod to my inspiration, my family.
My family were all creatives, from my grandmother, who was never without her crochet hook, my mother, an avid gardener and to my father, an artist, master craftsman and jeweller whose paintings adorn my walls. I grew up watching the amazing transformation of precious metals to beautiful, bespoke pieces of art. I love the creative process, taking the bare essentials and creating something of beauty, whether it be functional or decorative.
I started my first business at 20 in dried flowers and soon moved onto retail with shops in fresh and dried flowers in South Africa. I emigrated to the UK and shortly after began two further retail outlets, one of which was on the famous Kings Road in Chelsea, with many celebrity clients. I now divide my time between my studios in the UK and Spain where I live completely off-grid within a protected nature reserve. I host wildflower walks and foraging workshops where we weave and make beautiful wreaths and other items from scratch.
Happily, online courses and craft kits allow so many people to enjoy getting creative. It gives me great joy and satisfaction to see the expressions of pride on the faces of the people who create with my kits and classes.
Come with me on this journey and let us create together.
