Transfer the Design
Place the black tracing paper on top of your coaster base. Then place the design sheet face down over the tracing paper. Use a pencil to trace the design, transferring the pattern onto the coaster.
Shape Your Design
Next, it's time for the delicate wirework. With your pattern as a guide, you'll learn how to carefully bend and place the bronze wire, creating the elegant outlines for your design.
Fill with Colour
This is where you can really let your personality shine! Mix your own unique shades from a selection of colourful sand, then carefully fill in your wire design. It’s a wonderfully satisfying process, almost like painting with sand.
Give It a Glossy Finish
Once your colourful design is set, you'll learn how to apply a special sealing glue. This final touch protects your artwork and gives it a beautiful, glossy finish that makes the colours truly stand out.
Take Home Your Treasure
Step back and admire your finished coasters! You'll leave with a beautiful, handmade set, ready to brighten up your home or be given as a thoughtful gift, plus the skills to create more wire art.
