  • 5/5 from Jan Martin, attended Jul 2026: Really enjoyed the class. Only 2 of us (myself and a friend), with Lisa, the teacher. Messy and fun, all materials provided, and you take home the remainder of your starter pack, for further messy fun at home. Very happy that I booked the class.

  • 5/5 from Stacy Lohan, attended Dec 2025: We had a brilliant time in our acrylic pouring lesson Lisa our tutor was lovely, welcoming and very knowledgeable. She showed us examples of finished pieces. We enjoyed all of it and we will have lovely mementos to collect next week. We did a canvas painting and 4 coasters and we think theyre going ro look great in our homes and will definitely be using the things we learnt around our homes! And we got to take home the equipment which we didn't expect
  • 5/5 from Sue Grimes, attended Oct 2025: We all really enjoyed, goid teacher, clear instructions, friendly atmosphere, the time went very quickly. Good value with the set we were given.
  • 5/5 from Amber Obrien, attended Sep 2025: Myself and a friend went for a day out and to try something different. The teacher was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a lovely activity and we got to make some lovely artwork and coasters. The venue was located in store at the back but was a quiet area and blocked off from the rest of the store. All the equipment was provided which was amazing and we got to take the remaining paints home to try out ourselves. The only thing I would have changed would be to note down on the booking that the paintings will need to be collected in a day or two, just in case the booker is traveling a distance.

  • 5/5 from Maggie Lewis, attended Aug 2024: I bought this as a gift for a friend's birthday surprise. We both loved it. Joanne at Hobbycraft Stockport was excellent. The time flew by. Excellent value for money as we took the painting kit plus spare canvases and coasters home to do more in our own time. Joanne also took the time to show us the relevant art resources in store, showed lots of examples and gave us tips and advice. Would definitely recommend.
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Mar 2024: Jo Jo was brilliant. She made us relaxed at the beginning and did a good intro for us to know what we were going to do. Then she went through our packs and explained it all. The instructions were clear with time to ask questions. We were so happy with the results
  • 5/5 from Jo Grundy, attended Jan 2024: Joanna was absolutely brilliant. She shared lots of her knowledge with us, along with tips and tricks and also gave us a tour of the products sold in store after the session. This class was very enjoyable and the kit provided is great. Lots left over to have a play at home and we came away with lots of ideas too!
  • 5/5 from Christine Altieri, attended Aug 2023: Enjoyed the session, good value I bought the workshop when it was on an offer. Good quality box with everything you need. Was able to do 2 coasters and a picture, it did go over the hour but was so engrossed in the activity! The lady who lead the session was lovely and very clear and informative. Really enjoyed it. Look forward to picking up my art when everything is dry.
  • 5/5 from Alex Grierson, attended Aug 2023: Such a fun time! There were three of us in the class & we had a good laugh together. The teacher was lovely & very helpful. We did a canvas & 2 ceramic coasters, & she taught us a couple of different pouring methods to get different effects. Shame it was only for 1 hour, the time flew & we could've done with a little bit longer. The kit was good & means I've still got plenty to play with at home too. Altogether a really good workshop. Can't wait to pick up my finished pieces once they've dried.
  • 5/5 from Susan Holt, attended Aug 2023: Very knowledgeable teacher, excellent materials provided and really enjoyed the session. Could have done with a bit more space and more time but would totally recommend.
  • 5/5 from Jackie Lowrie, attended Jul 2023: Great course. Super materials and work place. Had a great time and as a beginner thought it was really made easy to learn new techniques from a fab teacher. Too short would have liked more but great value for money

  • 5/5 from David Andrew, attended Jul 2023: Great value for money with free pouring kit and ceramic coasters costing nearly as much as the course itself Would be good if 30 minutes longer so as to be able to complete the canvas and all the coasters. Learned a couple of pouring techniques. Still have 3 canvas boards from the set to use at home. Teacher was very good. Would highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Alex Heatley, attended Feb 2023: I really enjoyed this workshop. Our teacher was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer our (many!) questions. I learnt lots about the technique and came away with 2 lovely pieces and enough materials to try a couple more at home. Hoping an improvers workshop is created so I can add to the techniques that I now know!
  • 3/5 from Ruth Mackie-McCartan, attended Oct 2022: I enjoyed the session very much - but didn't really feel that I learned a lot, and i don't think an hour is long enough to actually learn a technique like this, as it is all very hurried and then the class ran over which seemed to be a problem. The young lady was lovely - but did her own canvas whilst we worked - whereas I felt she should have been around the table helping people. She was also a little distracted by something happening in the store. All in all good fun - love the product pack - but certainly didn't feel that I learnt anything.
  • 5/5 from Mrs Wood, attended Sep 2022: I really enjoyed the beginners guide to paint pouring workshop. Joanne was helpful and patient. It was good value because of all the paint I used and I came away with four pictures too.
  • 5/5 from Jacqueline Misk, attended Jun 2022: The class was very good. Joanna the teacher was excellent very helpful and knowledgable. all the materials was supplied, class was value for money
  • 5/5 from Caren Leigh, attended May 2022: I was lucky enough to have 1-2-1 support today, as I was the only one in the class The materials were presented so well, was like opening a gift The workshop leader, Joanna (hope I’ve remembered your name right!) was knowledgeable and above all is accepting of an individuals work!
  • 4/5 from Lisa Hewitt, attended Mar 2022: Joanna was great and was very knowledgeable about the topic. I was lucky to have a 1-1 so was able to ask lots of questions. Joanna also took me to the shop floor and talked me through relevant resources which I found really useful. Thank you
