The Odyssey: Myth, Drama and Movement Life Drawing Workshop

Spend an evening studying the human figure through gesture, movement and character in this life drawing session in Manchester. You'll work with a professional male model who'll hold dynamic poses ranging from quick one-minute sketches to longer twenty-minute studies – giving you time to explore weight, silhouette and body language in all their richness.This is all levels welcome. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or you've been drawing for years, there's something here for you. The beauty of life drawing is that everyone sees something different – your interpretation is the right one. You'll spend two hours translating what you see into studies that capture rhythm, narrative and character, all while relaxing jazz and classical music drift through the space.The session takes place at Barça, a lovely canal-side bar in Manchester, which means you'll arrive to a free welcome drink of your choice – a nice way to settle in before you start. If you fancy another drink as the evening goes on, there's a bar on hand. It's a welcoming, creative atmosphere where you can focus entirely on your work.Please note: you'll need to be 18+ with valid ID. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
