About Me
I have been an artist nearly all my life. I can not quench my thirst for art making, and as a result went on to study it for 10 years at the University of Chester whilst also teaching art full time. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be invited back to the University of Chester as a visiting lecturer on the PGCE Art programme. I find this part time role very rewarding and combine it with my own art workshops, classes and commissions.
I am a mum to a gorgeous little girl and have a wonderful husband, who appreciates my love of art and more than anything puts up with the mess! We live in Cheshire with our two rescue cats, Lyra and Lynx. I love running, I find it a wonderful de-stressor, and being in nature is always a good source of inspiration for my art.
I have had the pleasure of travelling widely, including backpacking around Australia in my early twenties. Life has certainly thrown me some trials and tribulations but the running thread throughout it all, the one constant, has been my art and my family, which I couldn’t live without!
