You’ll be guided through each stage, from selecting the timber to finishing your stool. You’ll learn how to read the grain, assess wood quality, and mill rough-sawn timber into precise components. As the day unfolds, you’ll progress to cutting traditional wedged mortice and tenon joinery, shaping the legs, and mastering effective glue-up techniques.Throughout the day, you’ll work with a mix of hand tools and workshop machinery, gaining confidence in using different methods to achieve professional-quality results.
