Brockham Arts Club

Brockham Arts Club commenced our journey in January 2022 as a modest after-school club, offering just one session each week. It soon became evident how transformative it is to provide children with access to a creative outlet. As a result, we have flourished and established ourselves as a vibrant hub for creativity, welcoming individuals of all ages.Primarily based in our art studio in Brockham, we also host sessions at various local venues throughout the area, including The Gin Kitchen, Buckland Park Lake and The Rose Room in Reigate. Our offerings include adult Paint & Sip evenings, children’s after-school clubs, holiday workshops, drama sessions, and our bespoke ‘arty parties.’We firmly believe that engagement with the arts is vital for our well-being. Participation in creative activities has been shown to enhance confidence and self-esteem, foster problem-solving abilities, facilitate emotional expression, reduce stress, and improve communication skills. The benefits are extensive. However, in the past decade, cuts to arts funding have significantly impacted access, preventing many children and adults from discovering and nurturing their talents. Our club's mission is to cultivate and nourish the artistic potential within each individual, encouraging everyone to explore their creativity and develop new skills.
