After graduating in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Three Dimensional Design, I bought my first kiln and got straight into ceramics.I’ve taught at my local college and now teach adults at Poynton Pottery as well as providing one off workshops and throwing lessons in my studio at The Old Brickworks in Pott Shrigley.As well as being a producer of homewares, I also love to share the passion with participants, creating beautiful ceramic pieces using a variety of techniques and designs.As well as one off sessions and throwing lessons, I like to offer smoke firing events and have businesses participating in bespoke workshops for their employees too.It really is a mindful activity to take part in and people enjoy their time at my pottery studio, usually accompanied by my dog, Nora.I work every day in clay with a healthy mix of making my own creations and teaching.
