What you'll do
Whether you're a beginner or looking for a refresher, come let your creative juices flow with us. Learn traditional lino cutting techniques and make your own printing block. By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a set of hand-printed cards ready to share or keep as lovely mementos.Feel free to bring your own ideas and inspiration, though plenty of examples and ideas will be provided. Simple, large block designs and silhouette shapes work best for this printmaking style. Your lino tile can be used again at home with this fun and easy way to personalise gifts.All materials and tools are provided.

Two friends who met at the school gates to their sons's primary school and bonded over inset days and coffee. We open The Hive in July 2024. From different worlds, Felicity has a background in craft and spent the last 17 years designing and developing the Christmas bear for Harrods, Jo has spent her career in hospitality and events, making things happen! We have come together to create a Sanctuary in Sanderstead. We both grew up here in Sanderstead, so know how special this community is. We wanted to open somewhere for people to enjoy, relax and create in an ever busy world. We snapped up the opportunity to open a studio in a converted bus shelter! Join us for one of our many workshops, craft, connect, create.We also like to venture outside our little studio and get on the road! If you have a request for a workshop in a venue of your choosing then please give us a shout. We have facilitated workshops for corporate away days and charity team days and would love to help your team days be a memorable event!
