  • 5/5 from Joanne Heaton, attended Apr 2026: Stacey was very patient and it was nice that it was a small group- it was a table though in the middle of the aisle so felt a bit awkward. I think any bigger group numbers would be difficult to make sure that everybody understands the instructions- could be nice to have 2 hours with a little break in between as I felt I needed a bit more time as I struggled as it’s not easy
  • 5/5 from Stephanie Lawes, attended Mar 2026: We learnt so much from Stacey, all the basics and more. Came away feeling confident that I could go home and carry on from where we finished. All the tools that we needed were provided. Lovely atmosphere in the shop too.

  • 5/5 from Jane Delaney, attended Feb 2026: Great class to learn the basics of crochet - make a chain, double & treble stitches and changing colours. Only 5 attendees which is about right to allow teacher to get round to everyone during the session to give help. Stacey was great - very patient and was able to explain techniques in simple terms. Good location for class in store (there are customers in store but you really aren’t bothered by this) and store is in good location too. I shall be practicing the basics I’ve learnt today ready to move on to bigger & better things. I highly recommend this session if you want to get an idea of what crochet is about.

  • 5/5 from Laura Horton, attended Jan 2025: Really great session. Not too many people and the teacher, Sara, was able to adapt her teaching to each person depending on their skill. I had a slim understanding of crochet before attending, and I found it really valuable to him the basic stitches. I asked questions about reading patterns and converting UK to US, and was given lots of support. I shall definitely be returning for a 1:1 when I finally pick my first slightly more challenging pattern. Pictured here is a small sample that I have been brave enough to attempt within 48 hours of the session. I wouldn’t have tried this before hand.
