I highly recommend the class as an introduction to this craft.

  • 5/5 from Emma Carr, attended Dec 2025: Really enjoyed our beginners guide to crochet class. My friend and I took our 9 year old daughters who wanted to learn so we joined in too. Our teacher Helen was lovely, and really patient as none of us had a clue what we were doing when we started! We now understand the basics and have been practicing at home with the yarn and hook we were given. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn the basics.
  • 5/5 from Diane Nolan, attended Nov 2025: Great class. Small number in class so teacher was able to demonstrate then go round to each person to give individual help/encouragement and ensure everyone had mastered the stitch. Learnt how to make a chain, double & treble stitch and how to fasten off. Provided with tote bag containing 2 balls of wool, crochet hook and written instructions. Very enjoable. Time flew by. I could have stayed there all evening.

  • 5/5 from Sarah Kirkham-Slack, attended Oct 2025: This class was brilliant - I went in knowing vary little, having struggled to follow videos and written instructions, and left with samples that I'd made of both double crochet and triple crochet (and we even managed to squeeze in a colour change!). The teacher was very friendly and knowledgable and the class size was small which meant she could come round and troubleshoot our techniques. She was clear in what she was showing us and went at the pace that suited the group. I highly recommend this class if you've been struggling to get started or even if you have no idea where to begin! I came home with a crochet hook and 2 balls of wool so I am all set up to practice, practice, practice!
