  • 5/5 from Sunita Cousins, attended Aug 2026: Really enjoyed this session. The class size was small so plenty of opportunity to get support from our wonderful tutor, Emma. The pace was tailored for each of us, who had varying levels of experience (from none to people who haven't crotcheted since they were 5!) Also were given a lovely brew too. Would definitely recommend this class for newbies and anyone who wants a refresh

  • 5/5 from Nicola Wilding, attended Feb 2026: Great lesson. Treated us individually to help all of us get better at our own pace. Been to introductions before at other places but I'm now ready to move on to more complicated patterns with the skills I've learnt today and tips I've been given.
  • 5/5 from Georgina Fairclough, attended Dec 2025: Teacher tried hard to go round and give 1 on 1 time with each person, and then in between that was good time to practice. We didn't learn lots but I was happy with the pace - any more would have been too much in the time and feel like I got a handle on the basics. I really enjoyed myself - thanks Karen for the lovely workshop! Glad she offered us tea as well :)
  • 5/5 from Hayley Harvey, attended Oct 2025: My daughter had a fantastic time at a beginner’s crochet session. Nobody else was booked into the session and so she had one-to-one tuition. Her tutor was very encouraging throughout the session about her skills and the progress she made. She was set at ease with lots of praise and conversation. It was taken at her pace and opportunities were taken to challenge her to further her skills. The teacher patiently showed her what she needed to do to master new stitches breaking down each stage of creating the stitch. I would highly recommend these sessions as I felt it was good value for the money. We were given 2 balls if wool, crochet hooks and a cloth bag included in the price. She left inspired to practice further!
