  • 5/5 from Katy Chadwick, attended Jul 2026: The teacher was fantastic - very inclusive, friendly and informative. She tailored the learning brilliantly for each individual and gave lots of helpful tips and advice. She also gave lots of ideas on how to progress after the class, pointing my daughter towards good sources of information. It would be lovely if there was a follow on class to this - we would definitely sign up! Many thanks!
  • 5/5 from Jane Richmond, attended Jun 2026: It was a great lesson learning how to crochet. Started by using my own yarns in colours I wanted and then was shown how to do slip knots, double crochet, treble crochets and was able to start crocheting my own rows and squares. The teacher was fantastic, explained everything really well and clearly and allowed me to work at my own pace.
  • 5/5 from Jocelyn Saunders, attended Apr 2026: Perrine was fantastic. She worked at our pace. Giving individual attention where needed. Thank you.
  • 5/5 from Ildikó Ryan, attended Mar 2026: It was a brilliant introductory class in Ipswich. I really enjoyed learning a new skill. We received 2 balls of yarn and a crochet hook that was suitable to use with them. We were told about different yarns and how to choose the right hook for them. Perrine was very patient to explain the starting steps and two basic stitches and she was happy to assist everyone with their issues or correct their mistakes. I got so enthusiastic I continued my crochet practice after the class and by the end of the day I had a quarter of a scarf made. Not bad progress for starting from scratch the same day. I would definitely recommend this class for beginners.

  • 5/5 from Julie Francis, attended Feb 2026: Great session — my daughter and I crocheted! Having never done anything like this before, we learned how to get started, three variations of stitches, plus tips to keep going. We came home with a complimentary hook and two balls of yarn each, and we’re super excited to keep practising. Our session leader was brilliant: calm, knowledgeable, and a safe pair of hands. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get started with crocheting.

Although we were sitting at a table in the middle of the store we soon got so involved we didn’t notice anyone. I throughly enjoyed this session and would recommend it to anyone.

  • 5/5 from Angela Keeble, attended Dec 2023: The teacher was amazing the balls of wool and crochet hook were of great quality. I can now finally crochet. The only criticism is the venue it was at the back of the shop but in line with the main door and it was very cold with the door keep opening, so good but cold

  • 5/5 from Lisa Scott, attended Feb 2023: It was a lovely class, our tutor Perinne was very patient and explained everything beautifully. The kit that we were provided with was lovely and I really liked the colours The table where we worked was put a little too close to a pile of boxes so our tutor was unable to get near everyone to show them what to do sadly. Overall great value for money and another new skill to develop.
  • 5/5 from Nadia Keen, attended Jan 2023: Fabulous. Carmen was so keen, helpful, knowledgeable, bubbly, motivational…… a really brilliant teacher. She checked all along the way that we were progressing and if not she was there. The venue was a bit difficult being in the centre of the store … we got a cold draft every time someone came into the shop. We were given a kit each which contained 2 balls of quality wool, instructions on sturdy card, clear and informative. I have learnt much that I never could have got from a book. Having Carmen as the teacher has inspired me to take my crochet further ………. Will keep eyes open for the next stage up course. Amigurumi honey bee here I come.
  • 5/5 from Kylie Rolfe, attended Jan 2023: The teacher was really nice, friendly and very patient. I loved that she was French and we had a nice chat about France. The materials were really good and I learnt a lot in the class. She gave me two really useful tips that helped a lot and that I wouldn’t have learnt online. The only negative I would say is the location, being in the middle of a busy store we got interrupted quite a few times. I took some instructions from a kit I had and the teacher spent time decoding them and explaining them to me which was above and beyond. Highly recommend!
  • 4/5 from Liz Osborn, attended Jan 2023: Friendly tutor who got me going on a project. The course time fly by. Enjoyed learning a new skill.
