  • 5/5 from Vytaute, attended Sep 2026: Amazing experience. Came to celebrate my daughter’s 11th :) neither of us had any experience. The beginner tote making workshop was great, the teacher was wonderful, the space is lovely and we love our new tote bags. I was so pleasantly surprised that we could so easily understand the instructions, the teacher was very good at explaining everything, helping where needed but allowing you space go actually make the bag. The instructions were easy to follow, great guidance. We made a beautiful bag and learned how to use the sewing machine. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn to sew or just have a mindful, calm afternoon with family or friends or even with yourself.

It made me feel a lot more confident working with my machine and curbing frustrations I’d encountered while trying to sew before on my own. I want to come back to Jen’s multi-day classes to make more :) also, in general I really believe in Jen’s philosophy toward fashion and reuse and I’m glad to have found a place that puts these practices into action.

I wasn’t sure how I would get on when I hadn’t touched a sewing machine since Home Economics in S2 some 30-something years ago!
