Looking to unleash your creative side? Join this jewellery making class for a one-day introduction to the world of bead jewellery. This workshop is perfect for beginners who are keen to explore the art of jewellery making in a fun and supportive environment.
This (and all my courses) is designed for adults. I do not currently offer classes for children and teenagers.
In this jewellery making class, you will learn the key essential skills to design, string, and fasten your own jewellery using a selection of beautiful gemstone and glass beads.
You'll discover how to plan out and beautifully finish a standard necklace; a stretchy bracelet; dangly earrings, and then we finish with a choice of projects - either more connections with wire to create a linked bracelet, or an informal cord necklace or bracelet finished using sliding knots.
With the guidance of your experienced instructor, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with different beads, colours and textures to create a truly personal selection of jewellery. We also discuss any questions you may have about bead jewellery - including re-stringing or re-designing old or broken bead jewellery pieces you may have.
The photos shown here are examples of the set projects covered in this day - including images of past students' work.
This is an introductory day to the world of bead jewellery - there are many other skills you can go on to experiment with and learn once you have mastered these basics!
Our intimate work space, located in Camden Town, London NW1, ensures plenty of personalised individual attention as the class size is limited to just three people.
The day runs from 10am to 5pm, including a leisurely one-hour lunch break. You'll immerse yourself in the world of beads and wire while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow jewellery enthusiasts.
The course fee covers a day of comprehensive tuition, access to all necessary tools, a wide variety of gemstones and glass beads to choose from for your designs, and any additional materials needed for your creations.
As you engage in this hands-on activity water and snacks are provided to keep you energized throughout the day. Please note that lunch is not included, but there are plenty of local cafes to explore during your break.
Join this fun beading class and leave with new found confidence in your creative abilities. Take home your beautiful necklace, earrings, and bracelet as a tangible reminder of your artistic journey.
Whether you're looking for a new hobby and want to develop your skills further, or just fancy an alternative day out, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to unlock your creativity and unleash your inner jewellery artist.
