Hi, I’m Alberto. I’ve spent more than 15 years working in professional kitchens, from Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels to major sporting events and private dining. Now, I’m bringing that experience to cooking classes where you can get hands-on, ask questions and enjoy creating something delicious.
My career has included Benares in Mayfair, Hawkyns by Atul Kochhar, InterContinental London Park Lane and Busaba Eathai, alongside experience at Wimbledon and Chelsea FC. Each setting has shaped my approach to food: attention to detail, thoughtful preparation and, above all, getting the flavour right.
Along the way, I completed a BSc in Culinary Arts Management and an MSc in Food Business Management at the University of West London, and I have an Enhanced DBS certificate.
I’ve also delivered more than 200 private events, creating my own menus and cooking for people celebrating some of life’s most meaningful occasions.
What draws me to teaching is the opportunity to make professional cooking feel approachable. Following a recipe is useful; developing the confidence to trust your own taste is even more rewarding.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, an enthusiastic home cook or simply looking for a sociable experience with friends or colleagues, you’ll be welcome. My aim is for you to leave with practical skills, fresh ideas and the confidence to cook it all again at home.
