Join me and a friendly group of others for a relaxed, creative adult collage workshop in South East London, and rediscover the simple joy of making something by hand.
Be inspired by the bright marigold flowers from the Mexican Festival - Day of the Dead - Día de los Muertos.
Over an hour and a half, I'll show you a few techniques on how to start. Then you'll spend time creating your flowers and arranging them how you'd like to display them - a garland, bunch, or wreath. (And if you want to make them another way, that's ok too.)
No previous experience is needed; just come as you are and see what shapes, colours, and textures you're drawn to. I'll bring along all the things you need.
Whether you come along with a friend or on your own, you'll find a friendly, informal setting where everyone's encouraged to create in their own way.
Held at The Crown Tavern in Lee, this is more than just a craft workshop – it's a chance to slow down, meet other people, be inspired, and grab a drink and snacks from the bar while making something beautiful.
What you'll get

  • As many artworks as you wish to make in the time we're together. (That may be one or lots; everyone is different.)
Knowledge required
No knowledge or skills required - as I say practice makes progress what ever stage you feel you're at.

You don't need to bring anything, but if you would like to look up some ideas beforehand, you're welcome to.

An 8 minute walk from Lee Station. There is a car park and free parking on the roads outside. *Please note this space is only accessible via stairs.*
