Discover the art of wirework in this unique workshop. Join us for a this fantastic class where you'll learn how to create a beautiful wire dream catcher to take home. Under the expert guidance of Jem, you'll feel comfortable and confident as you explore this new craft.

During the workshop, Jem will teach you how to use wire and beads to create an intricate and decorative pattern. You'll be amazed at the meditative nature of this activity, allowing you to relax and unwind as you weave. Don't worry if you're a beginner; Jem will be there for every step of the journey, making sure you feel supported.

We'll provide all the necessary materials and tools, so all you need to bring is your creativity. Choose from a selection of wire colours and beads that we provide, or feel free to bring your own beads or charms to personalise your dream catcher even more.

By the end of this workshop, not only will you have a unique and personalised dream weaver to hang in your home, but you'll also walk away with newfound skills.


Knowledge required
Beginner to intermediate - if you have never worked with wire; we will get you there.
If you have some wire experience, you will thoroughly enjoy this new technique.

The development features a multi screen cinema, multiple restaurants and bars in a beautiful canal side setting, should attendees wish to stop over.

Your teacher can also travel within 250 miles of Banbury, to a venue of your choice for a private class

Jem Hawkes is a jewellery designer and tutor specialising in wirework and gemstone jewellery and decorative items. She is driven by the natural allure of genuine gemstones and the individuality of designs made possible by utilising wire to bring her designs to life.
In addition to originating her own brand of unique jewellery designs and techniques, Jem is a jewellery tutor and teaches both via project led in-person workshops and on her YouTube channel.
Jem incepted her business, Jem’s Gem Box in 2010 initially to provide charm beads and bracelets, but very quickly wanted to create her own designs. Moving into wirework in 2014 had her headhunted to work in Live Shopping TV as a technique demonstrator from 2015 to 2019.
Jem also works as an actor, live action rôle play artist, model, voiceover artist, as well as running her own gemstone provision business and YouTube channel specialising in wire wrapping.
